Raymond James welcomes Alaska advisors collectively managing over half a billion in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisors Keith Green, CFP®, CIMA®, and Jon Coon, CPFATM, MBA, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm's employee advisor channel – in Anchorage, Alaska, according to Michael O'Meara, Midwest regional director for RJA.

Green arrives from Morgan Stanley, where he managed over $290 million in client assets. He leads Borealis Wealth Advisory of Raymond James and is joined by investment portfolio associate Christian Deykes, CFA®. Together, they provide sophisticated financial guidance to a variety of clients, from business owners and executives to non-profit organizations.

Coon managed approximately $308 million in client assets at Merrill Lynch and is joined by client service associates Gail Hill and Ally Berg, MBA. The group operates as Pioneer Peak Wealth Management of Raymond James and offers comprehensive wealth management guidance to clients, including individuals, families and corporate retirement plans.

The addition of the new advisors and three branch professionals expands RJA's footprint in Alaska through the establishment of a new Anchorage branch office. Idaho complex manager Todd Lovell and division sales manager Nancy Olzack supported the teams' transition.

"Raymond James distinguishes itself by prioritizing its advisors and their clients, making it a standout choice for our team. The firm offers an abundance of resources, tools, and technological solutions crucial to effectively supporting our clients," said Coon. "Perhaps what's most significant is the culture that not only allows but encourages us to actively engage and serve within our local community."

"Simply put, Raymond James embodies the essence of what a contemporary wealth management firm should be," said Green. "It's evident that the firm genuinely values the advisor-client relationship, ensuring that meeting clients' needs remains a top priority."

Green brings over 25 years of financial services industry experience to his role as senior vice president, wealth management. He previously served as an advisor at Salomon Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley. Green received his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM  and Certified Investment Management Analyst® professional designations.

Coon began his career as a financial advisor in 2007 at Smith Barney and recently served as a senior vice president and resident director during a 14-year tenure at Merrill Lynch. A Navy veteran, he earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis. Coon holds an MBA from Mississippi State University and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor™ designation.

"The establishment of RJA's new Anchorage office underscores our continued commitment to expanding the firm's presence and capabilities across the U.S.," said O'Meara. "I'm proud to welcome Keith, Jon and their talented teams. We eagerly anticipate partnering with them, investing in their success and steadfastly supporting their practices."
