Raymond James welcomes New York advisor managing $135 million in client assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed experienced financial advisor Mark Goldman, CFP® to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Shannon Reid, Northeast division director for RJFS.

Goldman joins Raymond James as managing director of Goldman Financial Services in Port Washington, New York. He provides comprehensive financial planning and wealth management to a wide range of clients including business owners, corporate executives, healthcare professionals and retirees. Previously, Goldman managed approximately $135 million in client assets at B. Riley Wealth Management.

“During my search process, Raymond James offered the most attractive combination of culture fit, compensation, advanced technology and growth opportunity. In particular, the goodwill of the firm’s brand name and its focus on providing sophisticated financial strategies will open new doors for me to attract and maintain more high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients,” said Goldman. “On the technology front, I’ve already received positive feedback from clients on the firm’s Client Access portal, which is especially important to younger generations as wealth continues to transfer to them.”

Goldman offers his clients more than 35 years of experience as a financial advisor, most recently over the last 15 years at B. Riley Wealth Management. He has operated his own independent practice since 1997 when he affiliated with First Allied Securities. A graduate of State University of New York at Binghamton, Goldman holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional.
