Raymond James Welcomes Advisor Team Managing $222 Million in Richmond, Virginia

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisors Betty Schutte-Box, CFP®,  and Troy Yenser, CFP®,  to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s traditional employee broker/dealer – in Richmond, Virginia, according to Dick Ferguson, Southern division director for RJA.

Schutte-Box and Yenser operate as Schutte & Yenser Wealth Management of Raymond James. The team joins RJA from Wells Fargo Advisors, where they previously managed approximately $222 million in client assets. As CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals, the two advisors serve a wide range of clientele, including physicians, business owners and individuals who have received sudden wealth.

“We were looking for a firm that we felt was on the cutting edge of technology and planning software for our clients, and we were very impressed by the culture,” said Schutte-Box. “We felt that Raymond James would embrace us and allow us to focus on the investment management and planning side of our business.”

Schutte-Box, senior vice president, investments, has more than 25 years of financial industry experience, beginning at Farland Investment Management. She later joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor, and prior to joining Raymond James, she worked as an advisor at Wells Fargo. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

Yenser, vice president, investments, began his financial services career in 2009 with Edward Jones. Most recently, he worked at Wells Fargo before joining Raymond James. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from the College of William & Mary.
