Raymond James Financial Services Names Northeast Regional Director for Independent Contractor Division
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Jodi Perry, president of Raymond James Independent Contractor Division (ICD), announced the appointment of Shannon Reid, CRPC, to Northeast Regional Director for Raymond James Financial Services-ICD, the firm’s independent broker/dealer. Effective December 3, Reid will succeed Tom Harrington, who is retiring at the end of the year.“Shannon brings a strong track record of leadership and experience at Raymond James, and I am pleased to welcome her as the Northeast’s new regional director,” said Perry. “During Tom’s 16-year tenure as regional director, he has made a significant impact in the Northeast region and to ICD’s overall success, and we thank him for his valuable contributions to our firm.”
Reid has been with Raymond James since 2009 and has served in a variety of roles supporting financial advisors at the firm, including head of Retirement Solutions, vice president of Cash Management and Private Client Group Planning, vice president of Private Client Group Education and Practice Management, and most recently, senior vice president and divisional sales manager for the Raymond James & Associates Eastern Division. Prior to Raymond James, Reid worked at Goldman Sachs for more than nine years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Duke University and her MBA in finance from Columbia Business School.
In her new role, she will oversee the management of the Northeast ICD region, which includes Washington, D.C., and 12 states: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia.
