Lola has a long history with the team's senior partner, Bob, as she has worked with him for more than 22 years – and across firms – starting at PaineWebber/UBS as a senior sales assistant.
In the world of business, the ones who are most successful are the ones who are doing what they love.
Lola joined Wood Asset Management in 2001 while the team was at Prudential Securities, then Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo Advisors, and now at Raymond James. Responsible for all operations, such as opening accounts, moving funds, assisting clients and other critical functions contributing to an exceptional client experience, she is also a notary public. Lola treats each client like family, using her friendly and dependable nature to provide personal attention and sincere service to all of our clients. As the reigning birthday queen of our office, she helps us celebrate in style and makes sure everybody feels special.
A graduate of Amelia Academy and the Braxton School of Business, Lola has supported numerous financial advisors, participated in transitioning advisors and has acted in management capacities over the course of her career. She has been consistently recognized for her achievements, service and initiative leadership.
In her free time, Lola enjoys cooking and canning, gardening, collecting double-deck card sets, reading, and vacationing with family. Originally from Jetersville, Virginia, she calls the town of Amelia home with her husband, William. They are proud of the children they share between them, Phillip and Fred, as well as their grandchildren, Ben and Alex.
