Teresa has been a professional in the financial services industry for over 35 years and uses the knowledge and experience that she has gained to serve her clients daily. Prior to joining Raymond James, Teresa worked at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Austin. She earned her Chartered Financial Consultant designation through The American College of Financial Services, requiring 9 levels of testing in Financial Planning, Wealth Management Certification, Certified Exit Planning Advisor, focused on small business owners who need help transitioning their business and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Certification, meeting the ethical standards to carry out a fiduciary standard of care serving the best interests of her clients. She is also an alumna of Babson College and the University of Houston.

Teresa has spent most of her life in Texas and has lived in the Austin area since 1994, where she lives today with her husband, Russ, they have two daughters, Jenna, and Erika, and her two long-haired dachshunds, Trudy and Duke. In her free time, Teresa enjoys running, swimming, fly fishing, water and snow skiing, horseback riding, and spending time with her family. She is a member of Dell Children's Hospital Circle of Friends, the Austin Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and The Austin Rotary Club, serving on many committees, including Global Grants, Camp Enterprise, and Group Youth Exchange. She is a member of Texas Women in Business, She also served on the Development Committee for St. Theresa's School. She worked with the Austin Creative Trust and was one of the parent founders of the Parent’s Leadership Council for the School of Arts Institute of Chicago.
