Since the start of his career, Mr. Garcia has always served as a trusted advisor on legal and business affairs. He practiced law in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City from 2000 to 2006. In 2006, he joined the Mergers & Acquisitions group of J.P. Morgan’s investment bank and worked in the Strategy & Development group of J.P. Morgan’s asset management business.
Mr. Garcia plays an active role in his community, serving as a member of several boards including the Thinkery Children’s Museum, the Vannie E. Cook Jr. Cancer Foundation, and the International Museum of Arts & Science.
A Certified Exit Planning Advisor, Mr. Garcia has decades of experience advising owners on significant transactions.
Mr. Garcia holds a B.A. in economics and a B.S. in business administration from Trinity University. He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. in 1999. He is admitted to practice law (but is currently non-practicing) in the states of Texas and New York.
