As a dedicated client service associate with the Texas Capitol Group of Raymond James, Jaryd Hartzell helps educate clients to better understand their financial picture. He aims to create life-long relationships with clients and enjoys getting to know each family with their unique stories. His primary responsibilities include client onboarding, account maintenance, helping clients with a variety of account related requests, as well as other daily operational needs for the team.
Jaryd started his financial services career at Equitable and assisted educators with activating their employer sponsored retirement accounts and created financial plans to support his clients in achieving their own financial goals. Prior to this, he worked at an affordable housing community and assisted tenants in receiving rental subsidies.
Jaryd is originally from Nazareth, Pennsylvania and played lacrosse at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland. He was a member of the National College Athlete Honor Society and studied abroad at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia during his undergraduate education. He continued his education at Centenary University, in Hackettstown, New Jersey, where he obtained his MBA with a concentration in Finance and was a Graduate Assistant Lacrosse Coach. In his free time, he spends his time outdoors on hikes, paddle boarding on the various lakes in Austin, refereeing lacrosse in the greater Austin area, and hopes to visit every national park in the United States.
