A highly credentialed professional, William has served the investment needs of high-net-worth individuals, charitable organizations and institutions since 1997.

William completed the rigorous program and qualifications to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), considered by many industry peers to be the most respected and recognized investment designation in the world. Through their course of study, CFAs master the skills needed for high-level, specialized asset-management responsibilities, including security analysis, portfolio management and business reporting. William uses this knowledge to manage the team’s Large-Cap Value Strategy portfolio to help provide investors with a growing stream of income. Additionally, his expertise in investment fiduciary standards of care is exemplified by his Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® (AIF^®) professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies and associated with the University of Pittsburgh. William has also earned the designation of Investment Management Consultant from Raymond James.

Prior to merging with Raymond James in 2012, William spent close to seven years with Morgan Keegan and managed more than $750 million in assets. William earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in finance and master’s degree from Columbus State University, with a concentration in economics. He is also a member of the Association of Investment Management and Research and The Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts.

When he’s not working with clients, William enjoys golfing, hunting and coaching youth sports as well as supporting local community organizations, and is a member of First Presbyterian Church. Originally from Americus, Georgia, he lives in Columbus with his wife, Vandy. They have four children, M, Taft, Cam and Bradford.

The Investment Management Consultant designation is awarded to those who complete the Raymond James Institute of Investment Management Consulting program.
