Celebrating what makes each community great

The prominent landmarks, organizations and institutions in the communities we serve all contribute to the quality of life of all who live here. Ken recently moved his home to Bowling Green, Kentucky and his office to Nashville, Tennessee and is looking forward to developing new ties with the community as he has done for many years in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he previously resided. Here are some of his highlights:

The Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world.

This bridge was constructed across Severn’s Valley Creek to provide access to a mill and raceway built by Samuel Haycraft Sr. Thomas Lincoln, father of President Abraham Lincoln, was employed in building the bridge. When Abraham Lincoln was 7 years old, he crossed this creek with his family on the way to Indiana in 1816.

A service organization that brings together business and professional leaders in order to provide community service, promote integrity, and advance goodwill, peace and understanding.

Founded in the U.S. through grassroots action in 1951, The Nature Conservancy has grown to become one of the most effective and wide-reaching environmental organizations in the world. Thanks to more than a million members and the dedicated efforts of its diverse staff and more than 400 scientists, the organization impacts conservation in 76 countries and territories.

The Sierra Club is the most enduring and influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. We amplify the power of our millions of members and supporters to defend everyone’s right to a healthy world.

This historic national landmark allows you to see, touch, hear and explore important railroad artifacts of our region’s heritage.

The foundation’s mission is to encourage philanthropic giving to make a positive impact upon our communities now and for generations to come.

The chamber provides valuable services to its partners, advocates a positive business environment and stimulates economic development for South Central Kentucky. Ken Haycraft serves as its ambassador.
