Barbara B. “Barbi” Brown

Barbi worked in the financial services industry for more than 30 years, tending to the needs of the many clients she served throughout her career. Personable and diligent, she made her mark in many clients’ lives with timely, accurate and meaningful answers to their questions and by making sure their needs were her first priority, always with a smile on her face.

Before joining Raymond James in 1988, Barbi was a sales assistant at Johnston Lemon in Washington, D.C., and at Shearson Lehman Brothers in Tampa. She attended LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia, and the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, where she was a member of Kappa Delta.

Barbi is a native of St. Petersburg and lives here with her husband, Ed, and raised two children, Reese and McLayne.

Barbi retired in 2022, and now enjoys her time spent keeping up with her family, serving as a homeless dog advocate and participating in the Euclid-St. Paul’s Neighborhood Association.
