Tom Oppenheim

Tom serves as Head of Texas Public Finance and joined Raymond James’ Dallas office in March 1995 to commence the firm’s Texas municipal finance efforts. He has extensive experience (37 years of municipal banking experience of which 29 years have been with Raymond James) with a variety of municipal issuers. Tom has served as either lead or co-lead banker on more than $52 billion Texas school district transactions, of which more than $25 billion represents senior managed business. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Economics and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (“MIT”) with a Master of Science degree.

Tom is a member of the Raymond James Public Finance Executive Committee. He has served on the Board of the Municipal Advisory Council of Texas. Tom holds an SIE and FINRA licenses in Series 7, 52, 63, 79, 99 and is a Series 53 Municipal Securities Principal.
