Steven Berger

Steven Berger joined Raymond James Financial Services Investment Banking in 2024 and is based in New York. Prior to Raymond James, Mr. Berger was a managing director at Rothschild & Co. covering global asset management and insurance. Mr. Berger joined Rothschild & Co. in 2019 and prior to that he was a financial services investment banker at Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan, and served on the corporate development team at MetLife. 

Mr. Berger’s practice focuses on providing strategic advice to financial institutions, primarily asset managers and insurers. He has significant experience with respect to the intersection of asset management and insurance as well as cross border M&A. 

Prior to his career in corporate finance, Mr. Berger served as a United States Marine Corps officer for 10 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the R.H. Smith School of Business (University of Maryland).
