Edward Newman

Edward Newman joined Raymond James as a Managing Director to lead the firm’s capital raising efforts in the life sciences industry. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Newman has executed more than 250 equity and equity-linked transactions for healthcare companies and has developed deep, long-term relationships with all healthcare-specific buy-side accounts globally. Mr. Newman has significant experience executing all types of capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, registered directs, converts, PIPEs and private placements. Prior to joining Oppenheimer in 1996, Mr. Newman spent six years at Lehman Brothers in their private client group. He received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Rutgers University.
