Jacob Czarnick

Jacob Czarnick joined Raymond James in 2021 as Managing Director. Prior to Raymond James, Mr. Czarnick worked for Perella Weinberg Partners for a decade. Mr. Czarnick advises companies on liability management strategies, complex debt and equity financing, stressed/distressed M&A transactions, credit agreement amendments and extensions, out-of-court recapitalizations (including CBCA proceedings) and Chapter 11 restructurings. In addition, he represents creditors, unsecured creditor committees and other stakeholders such as pension insurers and regulators regarding distressed situations. Mr. Czarnick previously worked at Citigroup as a Vice President of M&A and Strategy and began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston and Bank of America. Mr. Czarnick received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude and with honors distinction in research, from Cornell University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
