Francois Feuillet Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers. 2012

I have my new friend Jura De Almeida at Morrell’s in NYC to thank for this discovery. (If you want to see what heaven looks like for oenophiles, please visit his store at Rockefeller Center.) Pure smooth mineral notes of crushed rocks with bold notes of red berries and a touch of rose petals on the nose. I paired this with a variety of stinky cheese and roast chicken. My wine friends know that I am a big fan of Burgundy, especially the 100% pinot noir varietal like this bottle. I am putting this in my “Wine Hall of Fame.” Please raise a glass to your financial health and enjoy in good spirits.
