Jason Grimes, JD, LL.M.

Before joining Raymond James, Jason spent eight years as a tax and estate attorney in the state of Florida. His areas of expertise include tax, estate and wealth transfer planning for high-net-worth individuals and closely held business owners, and preparation and analysis of wills, trusts and other sophisticated estate planning documents. Jason attended Ohio University and earned a Bachelor of Science in business. He later attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University, where he was awarded his Juris Doctor, cum laude, and then the University of Miami School of Law, and earned his LL.M. in estate planning. He is a member of the Florida Bar, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, and U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. 

Outside the office, Jason is a dedicated athlete and has participated in numerous triathlons – finishing first in his age in his first 140.6-mile race. He is also a certified yoga instructor.
