Raymond James welcomes seasoned New Hampshire advisors managing $350 million in client assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Eric G. Werner and Vincent "Randy" Whatley, CFP®, AIF®, CRPSTM to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm's employee advisor channel – in Hanover, New Hampshire, according to Kelly Anderson, Northeast regional director for RJA.

The advisors previously managed approximately $350 million in client assets at Morgan Stanley and are joined by senior registered client associate Alyssa Kerins. Together, they will operate as Northeast Legacy Group of Raymond James and expand RJA's footprint in New England through the establishment of a new Hanover office.

The new office is positioned to offer wealth management and investment advice to families, businesses, institutions, and municipalities. Werner and Whatley's focus also includes family office services, nonprofit endowment management and strategic consulting for nonprofit organizations.

"We are excited to align with Raymond James, a company with a deep focus on wealth management," said Werner, first vice president, wealth management, and founder of Northeast Legacy Group. "Our industry is changing rapidly, and it is imperative for our team to be associated with a firm committed to delivering resources and tools focused on what our clients want and need."

With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Werner joins Raymond James with a wealth of expertise in serving affluent families and nonprofit organizations. He held roles at Merrill Lynch and Citigroup Smith Barney for over a decade before joining Morgan Stanley in 2008. Werner is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in history.

"We are thrilled to be part of Raymond James' Northeast expansion and look forward to sharing with our clients the benefits of the firm's quality market research, planning software, technology platform and financial stability," said Whatley, first vice president, wealth management.

Whatley brings over two decades of comprehensive financial planning and investment services experience to Raymond James, including an 18-year tenure at Morgan Stanley. A U.S. Army veteran, his commitment to a fiduciary standard of care is reflected in his designations as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, Accredited Investment Fiduciary and Certified Retirement Plans Specialist™. He attended Purdue University and earned a Master of Science in Business Administration at Georgia Southwestern State University.

"Eric and Randy's arrival and stewardship in establishing RJA's new Hanover office epitomize the firm's unwavering commitment to providing personalized financial solutions to clients in the Northeast," said Anderson. "We look forward to the impact of this transition on their practice and the community they serve."
