Raymond James & Associates announces regional leadership appointments
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James today announced new regional leadership appointments within Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – to support its divisional realignment and long-term growth, according to Tash Elwyn, RJA president and CEO.
Effective December 1, the formerly four RJA divisions will be consolidated into Eastern, Central and Western.
The former Southern division will largely join the Eastern division, led by Tom Walrond, SVP, division director. West Tennessee and Kentucky will move from the Southern division to the newly named Central division under Patrick O’Connor, SVP, division director. As previously announced, Bert White, SVP, division director, will continue to lead the Western division.
Courtland Williams, current Southeast regional director, will join the Eastern division and lead South Carolina, North Carolina, South Virginia and East Tennessee. North Florida complex manager, Gregg Stupinski, has been appointed regional director in the Eastern division, succeeding Deborah Cicatelli.
Cicatelli will take on a new role as RJA sales manager for New FA Programs, responsible for supporting the achievement of RJA’s overall goals for the Advisor Mastery Program (AMP), AMP Foundations and branch internships, which are designed to attract and prepare individuals for a career in financial services.
In the Western division, John Simmons will fill the newly created California regional director role, transitioning from his current position as Greater Los Angeles complex manager. Current Eastern Michigan complex manager Ed Sudzina will become Western Gulf regional director.
Current Northern division complex manager Amy Smart will join the Central division as regional director.
“This approach will allow us to optimize our support for advisors and their teams while focusing on key areas of long-term growth for the business. The firm’s commitment to succession planning and leadership development has allowed us to partner with high-caliber leaders throughout RJA,” said Elwyn.
