Raymond James welcomes $170 million advisor team in Massapequa Park, New York
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Scott T. Mulford and Melissa Minikes to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Shannon Reid, Northeast division director for RJFS.
Based in Massapequa Park, New York, Scott T. Mulford & Melissa Minikes provide personalized financial planning to their clients, which include business owners, families and those in or nearing retirement. The pair are joined by client service associate AnnMarie DeFabio. They arrive from Wells Fargo Advisors where they managed over $170 million in client assets.

The individuals I have met at the firm have shown the dedication and drive to do just that. I also want to ensure that my father’s legacy of helping others through this business will continue for decades to come,” said Mulford.
A New York native, Mulford began his financial advising career in 2017 at Wells Fargo, prior to which he worked in anti-money laundering. He received an undergraduate degree from Baruch College and an MBA at Molloy College.
Minikes offers more than 22 years of experience as a financial advisor. She joined Wells Fargo in 2006 after five years at Edward Jones. Minikes is a graduate of Adelphi University and received an MBA in finance.
