Raymond James names head of Advisor Inclusion Networks
Samantha Trebesch assumes an expanded role as SVP, Advisor Inclusion Networks and Sustainable Investing
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James today announced that Samantha Trebesch has assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Advisor Inclusion Networks (AIN) and Sustainable Investing, an expansion of her former position overseeing sustainable investing in the Private Client Group (PCG). Trebesch will work closely with the AIN advisory councils to continue to refine and grow their programs and initiatives, according to Kim Jenson, PCG chief operating officer.
“Those who have had the pleasure of working with Samantha know the level of strategic thinking, excellence and passion she brings to every opportunity. In addition to the impact she’s had throughout her tenure at Raymond James, she consistently dedicates her time and talents to mentoring and advocating for others – qualities that will be an asset to the advisor networks,” said Jenson.
As head of Advisor Inclusion Networks, Trebesch will provide centralized leadership and corporate support to the established financial advisor networks for the Women, Black, Pride, and Veteran communities in partnership with their respective advisory councils. The networks in turn give advisors a forum for sharing resources, strategies and ideas to enhance their businesses and serve the communities they represent. Additionally, each network hosts an annual symposium which is open to Raymond James financial advisors and others in the industry. Trebesch succeeds Renée Baker, who recently departed the firm to pursue other opportunities.
In 2017, Trebesch joined Raymond James as assistant to the chairman after nearly a decade of working in education. She later led the PCG Strategy and Planning team through a range of initiatives to enhance the advisor experience and create operational efficiencies before being named SVP, sustainable investing. In addition to her new responsibilities, she will continue to advance the sustainable investing capabilities and strategies available to financial advisors and their clients.
“The Advisor Inclusion Networks have long been an essential piece of the Raymond James culture, with the Women Financial Advisors Network dating back to 1994. I’m excited to join that legacy and work in partnership with the networks as we continue to foster an environment where every individual feels welcomed, supported and valued,” said Trebesch.
Trebesch co-founded the Raymond James Sustainable Investing Advisory Council in 2018 and serves as national co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Inclusion Network for associates. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
