Raymond James welcomes Ohio financial advisor with $130 million in assets
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisor Rob Bedinghaus, CFP®, CEPA to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to David Sisemore, Midwest division director for RJFS.
Bedinghaus Wealth Planning is located in Lebanon, Ohio, where Bedinghaus is joined by Senior Client Service Coordinator Susan Adams. Together they offer personalized financial planning and support to clients, which include business owners, families, individuals with sudden wealth and those in or nearing retirement. Previously, Bedinghaus managed more than $130 million in client assets at Edward Jones.
“I’ve always believed that our most important job is to act in the best interest of our clients and to put ourselves in the best possible position to do so, even when it requires change. With that in mind, we sought to maximize our freedom and independence in how we advise clients, manage their financial plans, communicate with them and to also ensure we are utilizing the most robust toolbox we can find,” said Bedinghaus. “When I joined Raymond James, I found a partner that gives us the independence we need while also providing high-quality support, resources, research and technology to help us provide the most value to our clients.”
Prior to founding Bedinghaus Wealth Planning in 2022 and becoming a financial advisor at Edward Jones in 2015, Bedinghaus worked in academia. He taught at Indiana University while earning his master’s degree and later his doctorate. Bedinghaus has continued his financial planning education as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor.
