Raymond James welcomes financial advisor team with over $250 million in assets in Utah
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James continues its expansion in the West, welcoming financial advisors Samuel Bates, Darin Frandsen and Adam Fluckiger to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – in Saint George, Utah, according to Bill Counsman, West division director for RJFS.
Together the advisors form North Rim Financial Group and are joined by client service managers Sara Bingham, Tabatha Ghramm, Michele Platt and Sheri Hamilton. The team provides sophisticated wealth management to clients, which include business owners, families, individuals with sudden wealth, pre-retirees and retirees. They previously managed more than $250 million in client assets at Edward Jones.
Prior to beginning his career in the financial services industry in 2011 with Edward Jones, Bates worked in banking and business development. He received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Weber State University.
“Raymond James puts advisors in the driver’s seat of their own practice, and that was a key draw for our team. In making the transition, we have gained both the freedom to always do what we feel is right for our clients, and the vast resources and expertise to design tailored plans that accelerate their financial goals,” said Bates.
A Utah native, Frandsen was a financial advisor with Edward Jones for 14 years and held several leadership positions including field trainer, level leader and performance leader. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Utah University. Frandsen has also earned Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ professional designation.
“Our practice needed a strong partner as we help our clients navigate complex investment situations in ever-changing market conditions. The size, scope and financial stability of Raymond James offers that ideal partnership while also aligning with our client-focused values,” said Frandsen.
Also hailing from Utah, Fluckiger began his career in financial services at Edwards Jones in 2011. He is a graduate of Dixie State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance.
“Our first priority is building and maintaining a true partnership with our clients through trust and transparency. The industry-leading technology at Raymond James supports that goal by streamlining communications and information to our clients, while providing advanced financial planning tools for us on the back end,” said Fluckiger.
