Alex. Brown welcomes Jon Dayton, veteran client advisor in San Francisco
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Continuing the firm’s expansion in the West, Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James, welcomed client advisor Jon Dayton in San Francisco, according to Alex. Brown Regional Executive Jennifer Bottalico, CFP®, CAIA®. The San Francisco office is part of Alex. Brown’s Metropolitan region, managed by Regional Director John Sutton.

Dayton joins Alex. Brown from Merrill Lynch, where he previously managed approximately $230 million in client assets. With more than 31 years of financial services experience, Jon serves a diverse range of clients.

Dayton has worked as a financial advisor with Montgomery Securities and Banc of America Securities. Most recently, he worked at Merrill Lynch before joining Alex. Brown. Dayton earned his bachelor’s degree from Williams College. He later completed a Master of Business Administration at Dartmouth and earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation® from the University of California.
