Raymond James welcomes $145 million advisor team in Seattle, Washington

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Continuing the firm’s expansion in the West, Raymond James welcomed financial advisors Jonathan Palmer, CFP®, and Alexander Moore, CRPC®, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s traditional employee broker/dealer – in Seattle, Washington, according to Pat Allison, Western division director for RJA.
 
The advisor duo operates as Palmer & Moore Financial Group of Raymond James and joins the firm from Wells Fargo Advisors, where they previously managed approximately $145 million in client assets. Joining them at Raymond James is Janet Lee, senior registered client service representative.
 
“When we met with the firm’s senior leadership, we were impressed by the culture Raymond James has built, particularly in the Seattle area,” said Palmer, first vice president, wealth management. “The advanced technology offerings and expanded solutions for high net worth clients were also a great fit for our practice.”
 
A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Palmer has been in the financial services industry since 2002. He began his career as a financial advisor in 2011 at Wells Fargo, where he remained for seven years before joining Raymond James. Palmer is a graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics, and Santa Clara University, where he received his MBA.
 
Moore, first vice president, wealth management, joined the financial industry in 2011, where he began his career as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Colorado College, his Master of Science degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, and his Master of Business Administration from Bainbridge Graduate Institute. He earned the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) from the College for Financial Planning®.
