Where good people grow: Leslie Ann’s path to Investment Banking
It’s a common question many of us are frequently asked in our younger years: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
Being in investment banking wasn’t necessarily on Leslie Ann B. Curry’s list, but it’s where her passions led her.
“Bankers can come from a lot of different places,” said Leslie Ann, chief experience officer of Raymond James Investment Banking. For example, she came from a family of lawyers. After realizing in college that she didn’t want to pursue the same path, she honed her passion for math and accounting.
Hear about her experience – from her college days and summer internship in investment banking to entering the workforce during the very tumultuous 2009 era.
Her desire to join a full-service platform led her to Raymond James Investment Banking, where she joined in 2011 and has risen up the ranks since.
