A Few of the Finer Things - April 2015
Did you know Lauren is getting married? On April 4th she is marrying a very nice young man named Nathan Mitchell. Lauren has been my Client Service Associate since 2008 when Juana Mahlandt retired. Juana worked with my father and me for many years before retiring shortly after my father did. Before she left, Juana hand-picked her successor and taught her everything she needed to know.
Juana could not have done a better job in both picking the right person and teaching her “how it’s done.” Lauren started at Smith Barney as the receptionist before moving into an operations position a couple of months later. Before working at Smith Barney, she worked as a nanny—I’m sure that many of you who have dealt with her over the years can imagine that—she is a true nurturer and thoroughly enjoys taking care of people.
When we moved to Raymond James in 2009, I made it a point to limit my knowledge of how things worked from an operational perspective. I knew that I had an extremely capable individual on my team who could handle anything our clients needed operationally and I wanted to focus my time on financial planning and investment management. I take great comfort in knowing that your client servicing needs are going to be handled promptly, efficiently and with a smile!
Please join me in wishing Lauren congratulations on her upcoming nuptials and come wish her well in person at our Client Appreciation Ice Cream Social on April 17th! It is at El Pedregal courtyard (34505 N. Scottsdale Rd) from 3:30 – 6:00 pm…hope to see many of you there! And I look forward to our soon-to-be-anointed Lauren Mitchell taking care of your client service needs well into the future!
