For those in North Scottsdale looking for a good breakfast/lunch place, I highly recommend JJ’s Deli at the northeast corner of Scottsdale & Pinnacle Peak (in the Safeway shopping center). Owned by my good friend Roger (no relation) Weiss, JJ’s is my go-to place for great food and a great atmosphere. I am partial to George’s Breakfast Burrito while my kids love the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. They have a great patio there with plenty of shade…very dog-friendly too. The consistency of quality food and friendly service is what keeps my family going back to JJ’s…A LOT! I pick up a salad a few mornings each week to bring to the office for lunch—for a high protein/carb free option ask for Gary’s Salad (off the menu but they know it well).
