We help each of our clients simplify their complicated life, while tending to every financial detail in a highly coordinated fashion. It all adds up to our commitment – to be your trusted partner that provides all the best available resources and most important information so that you can make the most appropriate choice for you.
We believe that navigating your complicated life and complex financial needs requires wisdom and experience. Our experience has taught us to incorporate three Key Values; Partnership, Proactivity, and Expertise. When we say Partnership, we mean that the relationship we have with our clients is the first and most important point. We want to understand each one of our clients so deeply that we can put ourselves in their shoes and come alongside to counsel them well. This can only be achieved through trust, openness, and vulnerability. It is our goal to hear you and make it happen. Proactivity is our second core value because problems are much more easily overcome when they are dealt with before they become a big issue. As Mike Tyson once said, “Everyone’s got a plan until you get punched in the mouth.” So too with your financial plan; your life changes and your plan should too. Expertise is a Key Value because it is what we do day in and day out. First and foremost, we work hard to become the expert in you, our client. Our second biggest role is to discover and evaluate the experts and teams that we work with to ensure that you have access to the right attorney, tax preparer, investment team, or other professional that is the best resource for you.
What else differentiates us? We structure at least one annual meeting for all clients. For others, we meet as often as their needs dictate. We hold separate meetings for goal planning and investment planning. Each are important disciplines on their own and deserve our full focus. This practice forces us to drill deep down into a client’s goals and fears so that we can build a portfolio that reflects the unique expectations and concerns for each of them. Some may think that how often we meet is excessive, we believe that it sets the tone for what drives us: providing information and insight so you can make the best decisions.
The way we communicate also sets us apart. Instead of sending generic emails to a mailing list, we take the time to learn how our clients like to communicate. We also know that, with rare exception, everyone has other stakeholders that are important to them, such as parents, siblings, children, tax and legal advisors or other professionals. We work hard to meet you where you are rather than ask you to adapt to us. We’ll call or email you if that’s your preference, we’ll email with your tax attorney, text with your teenager, or meet face-to-face with your technophobic parents.
We want to be your trusted partner that provides all the best available resources and most important information so that you can make the best choice, of your own volition.
