Using well-tested, long-standing, clear processes and procedures, we support a client’s ongoing planning via regular and frequent communication, annual or semi-annual Reviews, sophisticated analyses, and quick response times to new or different needs of the client. And, with a preference to work as a team with a client’s estate planning attorney and tax preparer, we coordinate discussions with these professionals to help a client navigate changes in his or her financial life.
Finally, a brief note about Investment Products: On other advisors’ websites, you may find a section titled “Products,” and there, advisors typically speak to the types of investment products they offer. Although products are, indeed, important, Michelle believes 1) high-quality products are to be assumed and the means to the end, 2) reputable, respected financial firms, like Raymond James, offer all the products any investor would need, and a section dedicated to a long list of products is unnecessary and 3) a focus on investment products may be misplaced. Without good planning, good advice, and good financial behaviors, the investment products have limited usefulness and effectiveness. Thus, at Summit Behavioral Wealth, the focus is on the person.
