First attracted to the investment industry by his college economics coursework, Ross Preville has taken a straightforward approach to financial planning. A Wealth Management Specialist (WMS), Ross has spent over 25 years helping investors address the distinct challenges of 21st-century retirement and build lasting legacies. Going beyond simply working on behalf of his clients, he seeks to be their educator and provide the tools to participate more actively in the investment process.
A very active member of the St. Petersburg community, Ross currently sits on the board of directors of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and is chair of the Downtown Waterfront Master Plan Task Force. Previously he has been chair of the chamber's Public Policy Council, was appointed to Mayor Rick Kriseman's transition team, board member of PARC, President's Associates of Eckerd College, Advisory Council of St. Petersburg Junior League, member of the First Team of the Children's Dream Fund and spent six years as president of the Florida Tourette Syndrome Association. He also has worked with the Mainsail Art Festival, Temple Beth-El, the Rotary Club of Downtown St. Petersburg, and served a three-term presidency with the Pinellas County School Advisory Council. In 2008, Ross was named Chamber Member of the Year for his work with homeless issues that were affecting the city. In 2015, he won the Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association Community Service Award for his work with the waterfront master plan.
Ross lives in downtown St. Petersburg. He has five children who live in Tampa, Cincinnati and St. Petersburg and two grandchildren. Ross enjoys the arts, golf, running and anything that involves downtown St. Petersburg.
