Making a meaningful difference in the lives of others
We believe not only in giving back, but in giving of ourselves – and that true wealth in life can also be measured by one’s compassion and generosity. We are proud to support worthy organizations that seek to impact our world – and the people who share it with us – for the better. Here is a list of those to which we’ve chosen to give:
Sustainability Investment Leadership Council (SILC)
“Giving back is an important part of our philosophy; this year we saw an opportunity to combine our business life with our philanthropic goals and with our sponsorship of the Sustainability Investment Leadership Council (SILC). We work with nonprofits and many of our clients serve on boards of philanthropic organizations. By participating in SILC we will be better informed for our clients who wish to incorporate sustainability in their portfolios.
SILC’s mission is to “educate, encourage, and expand the knowledge of individuals and organizations about sustainability policies and practices. SILC develops conference and webinar content that addresses the need to promote and support personal, emotional and financial stability within families.”

The Council’s programs and community of practice help organizations:
- Prioritize opportunities to influence the social, environmental and economic life cycle impacts of purchased goods and services,
- Identify existing leadership standards and approaches that address these priorities,
- Benchmark progress toward goals, and
- Receive recognition for advancement
Harry Ransom Center
“We have had the pleasure of working with clients in Austin, Texas since 1998 and throughout the years have learned about the amazing resources at the Harry Ransom Center. One of our clients has been on its Advisory Board for many years and graciously nominated me to join the Board. I was honored to be accepted in 2022. The Ransom Center is an internationally renowned humanities research center at The University of Texas at Austin. Its extensive collections provide unique insight into the creative process of some of our finest writers and artists, deepening the understanding and appreciation of literature, photography, film, art, and the performing arts.”
City Harvest
“As our Raymond James Cares initiative we chose to fight children’s hunger in NYC with Quattuor Capital Partners, our New York city branches and City Harvest. The Share Lunch Fight Hunger Campaign was a huge success. Our colleagues gave up lunch for a day and contributed - as a result we were able to feed 52 NYC children for the entire summer.
We also went to a mobile site for City Harvest at Union Square and rescued produce to distribute and feed children, families and seniors in NYC during the pandemic. Food insecurity is a growing problem in NYC and 4,260 lbs. of food was rescued in one day.”
Raymond James is not affiliated with and does not endorse or sponsor any of the organizations listed.
