The McPherson Splain Group of Raymond James is proud to support the 6th Annual Montgomery County VisionWalk, Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Rockville Town Square. As the Montgomery County Chapter President for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, John is committed to the success of the VisionWalk in terms of raising both funds and awareness.
The VisionWalk is the signature fundraising event for the Foundation Fighting Blindness and since 2006 the VisionWalk’s across the country have raised over $31 million which is used for vital research into retinal degenerative diseases.
Over 10 Million Americans are affected by blinding retinal diseases including macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa and Usher syndrome. The Foundation Fighting Blindness is working to find treatments and cures for these devastating diseases. The FFB is making a difference today to make the world a brighter place for those suffering with retinal degenerative diseases. And with the help of the VisionWalk, a Cure is within Sight!
Our VisionWalk team, Team Bruised Shins, has raised a total of over $85,000 over the past 6 years.
