"The mission of our practice is to provide quality investment and financial planning advice to help our clients achieve their financial goals."
Brian McPherson, John Splain
The complexity and speed of change in the financial markets requires careful planning to meet your investment goals. Experience and the proper tools are two important components of the planning process.
Both John and Brian have worked in the financial markets since 1983 and have seen many changes in the investment landscape. Markets have risen and fallen, tax rates and rules have changed, but the need to stay abreast of these conditions and changes has remained constant.
Having joined Raymond James & Associates in 1993, we formed our partnership in the fall of 1998.
Each of us joined Raymond James because we were impressed by the tools and support available for us to provide the highest level of financial advice to our clients. From its financial planning roots, Raymond James has evolved into one of the nation's premier investment firms.
Our decision to become partners occurred after working together for several years. We recognized that each of our individual strengths and our combined 35 years of experience complimented the other.
In short, John's research and analytical background allows us to better understand and interpret the financial quality of individual stocks and bonds. Brian's financial planning experience keeps the partnership appraised of the ever-evolving retirement, estate, and tax law changes*. Backed by the resources available through Raymond James, we believe we have the best team available to our customers. Our clients benefit from our combined experience, plus the team of professionals in the Raymond James Trust Company, the Financial Planning, and Retirement Plan Consulting Departments.
