Beth Shannon Memorial Golf Outing 2023

Bret Shannon and his wife have organized the Beth Shannon Memorial Golf Outing for seven years. Beth Shannon, Bret’s mother, was a teacher in Geneva for almost 20 years. The outing started in 2017, a year after her passing. The fundraiser raises money for a memorial to honor its namesake and other local charities such as Lazarus House, Gigi’s Playhouse, and Mutual Ground. Over the last few years, the outing has raised over 80k. This year alone, they were able to raise over $18,500. The golf outing had over 90 players from the Geneva area who came out in support of the memorial.

In support of the community and our advisors, MPWS, Inc. has sponsored the outing every year.
