A good steward in the community

Giving back to the community is a large part of our mission. We make it a priority to find opportunities to help others by being a good steward of resources, helping others to share in our success. Here are some of the worthy organizations and charitable causes we have supported through the years.

Mercy House
Richard Austin previously served on the board of this nonprofit serving the Washington Park community. Whether residents need food, clothing or shelter, they can find help here. The organization’s mission is to demonstrate the love and mercy of God in a more excellent way to people living in poverty.

Landmarks Foundation
Richard is an active member and former executive board member of this organization, which is focused on preserving Montgomery’s historic architectural heritage.

First United Methodist Church Montgomery
Richard is active in his church, which supports local homeless shelter ministries, prison ministries, Meals on Wheels, the Mercy House, Rise Against Hunger and more. He is an usher and a member of the investment committee.
