We knew Ryan Mills from a few bank transactions at Park National in Granville before our Granville Investment Group relationship started. Our daughter actually worked with him! He struck us as such a courteous and responsive individual. After Ryan started his current business, we switched the management of our finances and financial planning over to him shortly after. We’ve been with The Granville Investment Group for about 4 years now as of 2023.
Our relationship started on the topic of retirement planning help, but honestly, Ryan opened up so many other doors that we hadn’t thought about strategizing in better detail—ie: long-term healthcare, social security, and a buyout/exit strategy of my small business of about 40 years in school furniture sales. We feel like nothing is super static in our lives… so when circumstances change, his expertise is excellent at being adaptable and helping us navigating changes. Unlike some previous financial advising experience we’ve had, Ryan’s team does NOT take anything for granted. Ryan’s attention to detail and thorough explanations truly get us on a trusted level of understanding. Finances are not exactly our forte, and he always uses concrete examples of concepts to show us what is possible.
Being long-time Granville residents (almost 35 years), we also value the local accessibility to Ryan and his helpful nature with local charitable involvement…He’s been able to help get us involved in these important opportunities too—which is impressive to us. Ryan knows we trust him, but he never pushes a product, and continues to take the time to really understand our circumstances. The bottom line is, we partner with Ryan to get professional financial advice and investment management. It is also comforting to know how much he cares for the Granville community.
