In addition to traditional equity and fixed income investments, Executive Consulting provides unique opportunities through two channels: Raymond James Global Equities and Investment Banking (RJGEIB) as well as the Private Institutional Client (PIC) Desk. RJGEIB provides access to private and public investment opportunities that are sourced through Raymond James institutional relationships and the PIC Desk leverages the industry relationships that have been developed over time from a variety of sources including advisors, bankers, attorneys and existing clients. These two channels combine to form a wide range of offerings not readily accessible on a traditional wealth management platform, including tailored financing solutions, investment opportunities in the private marketplace, and access to an extensive range of asset classes and platforms. Investments include direct equity and/or debt capital into high growth start-ups, co-investment opportunities, direct real estate projects (including opportunity zones), private debt syndications and venture capital or private equity funds.

Customized Structured Investments: Structured investments combine the use of fixed income instruments with derivatives to provide various combinations of asymmetric risk and return payouts and/or cash flow. Structures can give investors exposure to a variety of underlying asset classes and can typically be categorized as risk reducing, return enhancing or income producing. The Raymond James platform is unique in that all structured investments are sourced from third party banks, meaning the pricing terms our clients achieve have been obtained through a competitive bid process. This offers the investor access to the best pricing terms and a range of issuer credit profiles to ensure the best fit for each client’s circumstances.

Institutional Money Market Funds: Raymond James has negotiated special access to several of the largest institutional money market funds to waive the typical large cash balance minimums required for utilizing these funds. Institutional clients seeking a cash equivalent that provides a yield in excess of typical bank deposit rates with T+1 liquidity can invest the cash through Executive Consulting of Raymond James.
