Doug Secord

Doug Secord joined Raymond James in 2011 through an acquisition of Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, an investment banking boutique that concentrated solely on financial institutions. At Raymond James, he focuses on the origination of public and private equity as well as preferred securities, mainly for banks, business development companies, and insurance companies. During his time at the firm Mr. Secord has had a hand in an estimated 200 deals representing over $65 billion in capital raised. He also maintains relationships with buy-side accounts on Wall Street. His 20 plus year career has also included positions at Stifel Nicolaus & Company and Everen Securities. Mr. Secord graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
