The Retirement Plan & Institutional Advisory Council is a group of financial advisors who establish and uphold a standard of care for serving institutional clients with their retirement, endowment and foundation plans. Raymond James has a dedicated group of advisors nationwide who have made investment consulting with clients their primary focus, which accounts for less than 1% of all Raymond James advisors. We continually develop and adhere to best practices for the qualified plan, endowment and foundation industry that our advisors and their clients can rely on.
NAPA Top DC Advisor Teams 2024: The list is created and conducted by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), an affiliate organization of the American Retirement Association, a non-profit association. Established in 2017, nominees had to be individual advisor team/offices with a defined contribution book of business. Winners are ranked based upon self-reported defined contribution Assets Under Advisement (AUA) as of 12/31/23. To be considered, nominees had to submit responses to an application form, including information about their practices, notably their defined contribution (DC) assets under advisement (minimum of 100million AUA). In 2023, there were approximately 452 submissions, and 452 were named to the list released on 3/18/2024. Joe Peterson received the NAPA ACES Award: Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisors under 40 (2025). The list is created and conducted by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), an affiliate organization of the American Retirement Association, a non-profit association. Nominations from the list were provided by NAPA Broker-Dealer/RIA Firm Partners. Nominees had to be retirement plan advisors with their own book of business and had to be less than 40 years of age. Nominees are required to submit responses to an application comprised of a series of quantitative and qualitative questions about their experience, size and composition of their practice, awards and recognitions, and industry contributions, which were then reviewed by a panel of senior advisor industry experts, who, based on those criteria, and following a broker-check review, selected the top young advisors. Time period upon which the rating is based is from calendar year 2024 and was released on 11/15/2024. For the 2025 award there were over 500 nominations. From that, 100 were named to NAPA’s ACES: Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisors under 40.
