Throughout a career that has spanned nearly four decades, Ira has found great fulfillment in helping people plan their financial lives. He gains a good understanding of each client’s needs in order to establish a clear objective and develop a tailored strategy, and provides his guidance to help ensure they continue on their financial path.
His considerable experience includes financial planning, wealth planning, investment strategy, portfolio planning, and retirement planning, asset allocation and company 401(k)s. In addition, he has specialized experience in building municipal bond strategies designed to meet clients’ objectives for income and asset preservation.
Ira and his son, Harrison, established Bauman Wealth Management of Raymond James in 2016, drawn by the firm’s client-first culture and financial planning focus. Earlier in his career, Ira was a senior vice president and financial advisor at both Morgan Stanley and UBS, and a vice president and financial advisor at Drexel Burnham Lambert.
He earned an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BSBA in finance and accounting from Boston University.
Originally from Marlboro, New Jersey, Ira lives in Manalapan, New Jersey, with his wife, Michele. They have two children, Harrison and Riana. Ira is an avid baseball fan, as well as a fan of football. When not helping clients, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
