How we serve your institutional needs
Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive advice and assistance essential to the financial and fiduciary well-being of your institution. We approach every decision with discipline, transparency and control – and work diligently to ensure that our guidance exceeds your expectations. We are committed to working together with you to assess your needs, define success, set goals, and evaluate and document the progress on an ongoing basis.
-
Our non-discretionary approach allows the institution’s leadership, or the committee that is designated the task, to maintain the ability to make investment decisions. We provide the recommendations, but it is in the power of the institution to decide on the direction their portfolio takes.
-
We work closely with our institutional clients to define the objectives, review process, risk management and spending policy. On an annual basis, we review the investment policy statement to help ensure it remains aligned with your institution’s mandates.
-
We can offer customized individual account and consolidated custody reporting that is timely, accurate and designed to meet your needs. This service includes online access to portfolio values and account activity, security of your assets under custody, annual independent audits of custody services (SAS 70 or SEC 17a-5), custody account protection from government and private sources, and direct membership in the Depository Trust Company (DTC).
-
We have decades of proven experience in the equity and fixed income markets, and have the ability to execute trades in a timely and cost-effective manner.
-
We can provide a full suite of services required by institutional clients in fulfillment of their fiduciary duties and responsibilities. For anything beyond, we have the full resources of Raymond James and its Institutional Consulting Services professionals.
-
We can offer you a cost-effective bundled fee structure that ensures you will know exactly what you are paying at all times. The ICS Institutional Consulting Agreement (ICA) fee is all encompassing, so you need not worry about:
- Whether investment consulting advice is based on the desire to generate additional revenue through commissions or per project fees, rather than in your best interest
- What it will cost if your institution needs the consultant to visit off schedule due to special situations that will arise (i.e., market conditions, manager searches, legislative needs)
- Whether commission costs will impact your portfolio due to rebalancing or transitioning, to include from a custody point of view.
Our fee includes all services required by fiduciaries to fulfill their duties. It also includes custody and trade execution services with no additional cost, potentially saving your institution a substantial sum annually. Our larger accounts will enjoy a preferred rate, based on a percentage of their assets.
We believe it provides the best solution for institutional clients seeking to enhance delivery of services while controlling expenses.
