RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS TURNED TO INTENTIONAL ACTS OF GIVING
Successful families and individuals are often approached for charitable support of any number of touching causes, but as families grow financially confident and comfortable, the desire for a strategic approach to giving is often realized. Rather than simply meeting personal or professional obligations or requests for donations, SSG clients desire to make a greater difference, see the impact of their grants, ultimately matching their values with impact.

The SSG Executive Advisory Group assists clients in the development and implementation of a Strategic Philanthropic Plan. In coordination, Todd Sherman and Brian Baskin, CFP® professional, coordinate to develop a comprehensive understanding of the family dynamic and opportunities for planning. Beginning at home SSG facilitates a deep due diligence review in preparation of a comprehensive financial plan intended to assure financial confidence to our clients first, followed by an analysis and plan for the family as desired, ultimately striving to arrive at a point where a strategic plan for additional wealth transfer can be considered comfortably. With the completion of this three-step process, families can then work with SSG to develop and implement their Strategic Philanthropic Plan in a tax-efficient and thoughtful manner to nurture a family legacy.

We can show nonprofit organizations how to have a greater impact in fundraising by educating and inspiring their donors on a personal level on how to give more effectively. Both Todd Sherman and Mike Francisco sit on the board of a 501(c)3 charity (The Patriot Fund) to which they commit significant time and capital, both in terms of leadership and philanthropy. The combination provides them the ability to relate directly to both the donor population and the grantee organizations. Let us help you better understand the benefits of strategic philanthropic planning.
