Coronavirus - Where Are We Now?
Coronavirus *&!!!*#
The last two weeks in the market have been fun.
Here is what we know. The Coronavirus has a longer incubation period than the flu and is potentially more contagious. We also know that the mortality rate is higher.
As I have always said, the market is based upon greed, fear and dividends.
So where do the market and economy go from here?
It all depends upon consumer and business spending.
Attached are two great pieces that I think will potentially help you:
1. ClearBridge Advisors – “Anatomy of a Recession”
2. American Funds- “Keys to Prevailing Through Stock Market Declines”
Several economists think that the Federal Reserve will continue lower interest rates and utilize tools to keep us out of recession.
Interest rates are really low, so it is potentially a time to refinance your home, purchase a second home, buy a car, or even talk partner into buying a fishing rod, boat or motorcycle.
So, help us stay out of recession and SPEND- shhh- don’t tell my wife or daughter.
