We’re grateful for the continual support of our clients and neighbors who have helped us achieve success. It’s our honor and privilege to return the favor as active members of our community. Here are some of the initiatives that are most important to us.

Sachs For The Hungry

Sachs for the Hungry was started in 2017. With the goal of providing sack lunches for the homeless in San Antonio, clients and friends were invited to join us in making sandwiches and stuffing over 700 paper bags. Since our initial event, The Sachs Group of Raymond James has hosted an average of 2 sack stuffing events per year filling over 500 bags at each event. In our recent events, we have filled the sacks with primarily snacks so that organizations such as Church Under The Bridge can disperse them to individuals as they need them. In addition to food, we have collected other items such as blankets, socks, undergarments, and clothing. Sachs for the Hungry has also put together special Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gifts for those in need in our community.

Joined by clients and friends, we have also partnered with other local organizations to provide and serve dinner to the homeless at Church Under The Bridge on many occasions.

We look forward to continuing the efforts of Sachs For The Hungry and invite all to join us.

Hope Hits Harder

Founded by T-Bone (Tommy) and Jana Bounds, Hope Hits Harder (formally known as Teed Off At Cancer) began in 1998 after Jana was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Wanting to do something to help others in a similar situation, T-Bone organized the first Teed Off At Cancer golf event in order to raise funds for those families. Roy was privileged to be a part of this first event and has been a supporter of their efforts ever since. That event has grown to currently hosting over 700 people raising over $500,000 each year to help children with cancer, their families and the hospitals that provide care.

Since 2014, Wendy has proudly been the silent auction chair for Hope Hits Harder’s annual gala. It has been more than a privilege, it has been life altering.

With two children of their own, Roy and Wendy have been honored to be a continual supporter of this events and their efforts to help as many children, their families and the hospitals working to fight cancer.

Admiral Nimitz Foundation – National Museum of the Pacific War

The Admiral Nimitz Foundation is dedicated to honoring, teaching and preserving at The National Museum of the Pacific; a world-class museum recognized as one of the premier military museums in the nations. Their dedication to honoring past, current and future military individuals is second to none.

Roy and Wendy Sachs have been proud supporters and participants of this event for over 10 years. Each year, at this event, we are honored and humbled at the opportunity to stand beside the great men and women who have served our country.
