Education isn’t just important, it’s inspiring. The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara is a nonprofit dedicated to helping students access higher education and vocational studies with financial aid and scholarships.
As Chair, this cause is especially close to Matt’s heart. The Santa Barbara Foundation is a community-fueled initiative focused on mobilizing philanthropic capital to build stronger and more empathetic communities.
We’re invested in the families and young people that make up our communities. The Santa Barbara Family YMCA helps promote family health and wellness goals while fostering a sense of community.
Sansum Diabetes Research Institute
Matt is on the Sansum Diabetes Research Institute (SDRI) board, reflecting his personal connection as a type 1 diabetic. The institution is renowned for its contributions to clinical research, education and patient care – notably among underserved populations.
