We view each and every advisor as a respected client, so you can offer the best possible service to yours. That’s why we go out of our way to provide steady support and superior service to our advisors. That’s been our stance since Bob James started the firm in 1962; and it hasn’t wavered. This consistency carries over into other areas, as well, with branch managers averaging seven-year tenures and senior managers building lifelong careers with the firm.
I’m proud to be an example of that.
In almost two decades at Raymond James, I’ve been fortunate to experience firsthand the kind of growth you can achieve personally and professionally when you have an outstanding firm behind you.
I started with Raymond James in 1993 as a financial advisor trainee straight out of Emory University, eventually becoming an assistant branch manager, then a branch manager. From there, I served as divisional director, senior vice president of the Atlantic Division of Raymond James & Associates. During that time, my energy was dedicated to attracting new advisors to the division and supporting their growth plans. Now, I’m president of RJ&A, and I get to do the same thing across the firm, while still interacting with my clients as an active producer.
I’m honored, and humbled, to be part of a firm whose founding principles of conservatism, independence and integrity remain refreshingly at the forefront even 50 years later – especially the priority we place on our advisors. Like everyone at Raymond James, I understand the value of a trusting advisor-client relationship, and we do our best to provide exactly what advisors need to keep their businesses running smoothly and growing steadily.
Sincerely,
Tash Elwyn
President
