The SSO link will not be there the first time you login. We must manually add it once you’ve created a profile. Log out, wait 5 minutes, and log back in. You should see the link towards upper right hand side of the page. It looks like the below. If you have enrolled during non-business hours and/or on the weekend, you won’t see the SSO link until the next business day.

A cash exercise is when you purchase your options with your own personal funds and hold on to the resulting shares.

A sell-to-cover is a transaction initiated through a broker whereby you sell enough shares to cover the exercise costs plus withholding taxes (if applicable) of a larger amount of options. It’s a partial cashless and partial cash exercise so that you can exercise some options and hold on the resulting shares without coming out of pocket for the expenses.

Yes. However, keep in mind that as an employee might be bound by your company’s Insider Trading Policy. As such you may be subject to “trading windows” and “blackout periods”. Your Quadrant team will have detailed knowledge of these periods and will help you monitor and comply with these policies. If you deposit your company shares with other brokers, it could increase the chance that you will transact in these shares during a blackout period even if on accident. Violations of your insider trading policy can subject you to disciplinary measures.

When your shares vest, there is a mandatory tax withholding. Many companies will withhold shares to cover this withholding resulting in fewer shares be issued to your account.

You can either call your Quadrant team or sell through Raymond James Client Access. If you do not have online trading setup, you can request it by sending us an email.

ACH is the best method. It is a direct deposit to a checking or Savings account. We include the ACH form with our initial account setup forms. Otherwise we can send a check or wire.

Trades settle 2 business days after the trade date. Stock option exercises can take longer because there are more processes and people involved. Typically you should have the net proceeds sent in a week.
