The US remains a bright spot in global equity markets following the election as President-Elect Trump's protectionist and "America First" philosophies are expected to support US economic growth relative to other developed nations. The S&P 500 has outperformed the MSCI All Country World Index (ACWI) Excluding US by 4.9% in November month to date. This outperformance already ranks in the 95th percentile of monthly performance of US equities relative to international in the post-GFC era.
