In his role at the firm, Michael leads the market research and portfolio and investment process. As a senior portfolio manager, he is provided a high degree of flexibility in constructing portfolios and selecting securities. Michael currently manages 12 portfolios.
Michael is recognized as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), a designation that represents a thorough knowledge of and ability to apply the fiduciary practices. AIF designees have a reputation in the industry for the ability to implement a prudent process into their own investment practices as well as being able to assist others in implementing proper policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Michael was with Merrill Lynch for 25 years. Throughout his career in the financial services industry, he has always enjoyed getting to know clients and has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality service. Michael holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in business from Columbia Pacific University in San Rafael, and an Associate of Arts in accounting from Bryant & Stratton College in Milwaukee.
Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Michael and his wife, Elsa, enjoy life today in Camarillo. Active in the community and in serving others, Michael is a former board member of the World Affairs Council of America; a member of the World Affairs Council, Los Angeles; former chairman of the board for the World Affairs Council, California Central Coast; a member of the Foreign Policy Association, New York; a member of the Channel City Club, Santa Barbara; and a member and former Parish Council President of St. Demetrius Greek Orthodox Church.
